CFMOTO Riders Dominate Lincs Enduro Club Round in Challenging Conditions

Race Report 18^th March 2026

The team headed to the latest Lincs Enduro Club round on 18^th March with challenging conditions on the cards, following heavy rainfall leading up to race day. The demanding course, combined with tight, technical sections, would push all riders and machines to their limits.

As the race got underway, all three CFMOTO 450MT machines launched strongly off the line, immediately leading the Adventure class. Chris secured the holeshot, followed by Neil and then Harry, setting the tone for a competitive, hard-fought race from the outset.

A small mistake shortly after saw rider Chris take an off-line excursion down a bank while navigating traffic, handing the advantage to Harry, who capitalised and moved into the class lead.

Harry settled into a strong rhythm at the front, managing the opening lap well despite limited line choices and heavy congestion with Sportsman riders. Making the most of the tighter wooded sections, Harry was able to pick clean lines and carry more momentum, securing his lead.

Harry commented, “The first lap was challenging with limited line choice, but I adapted well and kept things flowing. The toughest section was the off-camber climb in the Miscanthus. It was extremely slippery and difficult to maintain traction, with the bike going sideways more than once.”

Meanwhile, Chris found himself locked in a close battle with Neil, with positions changing as each rider navigated the increasingly difficult terrain. The soaked surface made conditions extremely slippery, with the top layer of mud offering very little grip and making line choice critical.

Harry faced setbacks mid-race, getting stuck at the river crossing and later losing time again after the wrong line choice through the woods. A minor issue with the chain guard also added to the challenge. Despite this, Harry remained composed and pushed on, despite questioning if he even had the energy to carry on and complete the last lap; however ended up delivering one of his strongest laps throughout the race, with the track starting to open up slightly towards the end.

Chris discusses the tricky terrain and the moment he lost the lead to Harry: “On the second corner, Neil and I had a coming together, but managed to stay on. I then took the wrong line, overtaking some of the class in front, which ended in me taking a trip down a bank. This cost me the lead to Harry.”

“We later came to a technical part of the track, which was very congested with competitors trying to navigate around trees on a hillside. Harry saw a gap between the bikes and went for it; I instantly followed, but another rider took a tumble in front of me, blocking my path. Neil saw a new line but unfortunately had the same luck as me. The rain had made the top layer of mud ice-like, so line choice was extremely important to keep momentum up. Neil and I were at battle for the whole race, both good and bad lines were taken by both of us, but I didn’t see Harry again… he was gone.”

Despite the tough conditions resulting in many riders failing to finish, all three riders delivered an outstanding performance, securing an incredible 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in the Adventure class. Not just a fantastic result for the team but also for CFMOTO, showcasing the incredible 450MT.

A huge well done to Lincs Enduro Club for delivering an excellent track and event despite the challenging weather conditions, creating one of the most demanding and well-attended rounds the club has ever delivered.
